​Thom Yorke, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga Shortlisted for Oscars Best Original Song

'Black Panther,' 'BlacKkKlansman,' 'Crazy Rich Asians' have been shortlisted for Best Original Score

For the first time ever, the Oscars have revealed the shortlists in the musical categories of Best Original Song and Best Original Score.
 
Among those nominated for Best Original Song are Thom Yorke's "Suspirium" (Suspiria), Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "All the Stars"(Black Panther), Sampha's "Treasure" (Beautiful Boy), Jónsi and Troye Sivan's "Revelation" (Boy Erased), Dolly Parton's "Girl in the Movies" (Dumplin'), and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's "Shallow" (A Star Is Born).
 
In the Best Original Score category, the nominated films include Annihilation, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Crazy Rich Asians, First Man, If Beale Street Could Talk, Mary Poppins Returns and Vice, among others.
 
As expected, Jóhann Jóhannsson's Mandy score did not qualify for a nomination.

The shortlists will be whittled down to five nominees each, and the full list of Oscar nominees will be announced on January 22.
 
The 91st Academy Awards ceremony will be broadcast on February 24, but it will no longer be hosted by Kevin Hart.
