Published Mar 15, 2011Well, here's something to brighten that Tuesday morning. Radiohead singer/dancer Thom Yorke, Four Tet and Burial are joining forces for a new twelve-inch. The release will come via Four Tet's Text imprint on March 21, with the A-side being a Burial track dubbed "Ego" and the flip housing Yorke and Four Tet's "Mirror."
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that this is going to sell out tout suite. In fact, UK retailers like Bleep and Rough Trade are already sold out. However, there appears to be some left at Phonica, at least as of press time. And, sorry, there's no word on if North American retailers will get copies of this one.
Both songs will premiere tonight (March 15) during Four Tet's session on Rinse FM at 11 p.m. GST. So chances are that if you miss out scoring a physical copy, a radio rip will pop up soon.
Of course, Four Tet and Burial previously teamed up on the "Moth"/"Wolf Club" single back in 2009.
