Thee Oh Sees' recently revealed "The Lens" is one of the gentlest yet trippiest song explorations we've heard out of the garage-leaning crew, and it's animated video is fittingly adding to the psych-trip with a whole host of bizarre and erotic images.
Scored by a paisley-tinted wonderwall of soft and shushed vocal melodies and regal brass, the Alex Theodoropulos-directed clip finds an astronaut heading through a magical mystery tour of the cosmos aboard a space whale before hitting a planet pumping turquoise babies out of a land mass's motherly crevasse. From there you get some suggestive scenes with eyeball/testicle hybrids and the explorer's rebirth at the hands of an otherworldly goddess, as seen up above.
Artful though it may be, the anatomical oddness of it all may warrant the video an NSFW tag.
