They've also shared plans for a new record

Fresh off their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, the Zombies have announced a headlining North American tour kicking off late next month.

The band will hit a couple of Caribbean cruises and a handful of American cities before heading north of the border for an extensive tour of Western Canada. Colin Blunstone, Rod Argent, Steve Rodford, Tom Toomey and Søren Koch will kick off the Canadian stretch in Winnipeg this April 15, making several stops in Alberta and BC throughout the remainder of the month. The tour wraps up in Victoria on April 25.

In conversation with Rolling Stone, Argent also confirmed that the band are currently working on a new record.

"In a lovely coincidence, just two days ago we were excited to finish the first three newly written tracks for our upcoming album in my just completed studio," he told RS. "Which sounds great and happens to be designed by the same guy responsible for the acoustic design of all the Abbey Road studios — including Studio Three!"

So far, no other details about the forthcoming new album have surfaced. The band last released new music five years ago with Still Got That Hunger.
