Yesterday, the Weeknd unfortunately postponed his 2022 world tour, but it isn't all bad news this week, as the Canadian star will now turn his attention to a collaboration with Swedish House Mafia.

Today on Twitter, both the singer and the recently reunited EDM trio shared teasers confirming a new song titled "Moth to a Flame" will arrive "this week." Though a concrete date was not revealed, the single could appear Friday, October 22, with other new releases.

The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia previously teased the collaboration in September, ahead of the singer sharing at the start of October that he would deliver "some exciting features" before releasing an anticipated follow-up to After Hours.

Previously, the Weeknd teased the beginning of a new chapter with single "Take My Breath." The working title of his fifth solo LP is The Dawn, and a GQ cover story previously characterized the effort as one packed with "Quincy Jones meets Giorgio Moroder meets the best-night-of-your-fucking-life party records."

Swedish House Mafia made their reunion official in July, delivering single "It Gets Better." Debut album Paradise Again is expected to arrive later this year through Republic Records.
