The Veils

'Total Depravity' (album stream)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 23, 2016

London, UK indie outfit the Veils are ready to follow up 2013's Time Stays, We Go with a new album titled Total Depravity, and Exclaim! is giving you an advanced listen to the full LP.

As previously reported, the record features production from Run the Jewels' El-P, Adam "Atom" Greenspan and the band's own Finn Andrews.

The 12 new songs run the gamut of thematic inspiration, twisting out tunes about the animal kingdom (like Mexican walking fish "Axolotls" and surprisingly gentle water reptiles on "Swimming with Crocodiles"), as well as famous public figures like the Pope, Ingrid Bergman and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.

You can hear the eclectic collection of tracks in the player below before Total Depravity's official release on August 26 via Nettwerk. Just scroll past the band's upcoming tour dates and hit play.
