Blur bassist and cheese enthusiast Alex James has been hosting the UK's Big Feastival at his farm in the Cotswolds for years now, simultaneously fuelling fans with great food and music. Now, for the first time, the fest is making its way to Canadian soil.

The inaugural Canuck event will take place at Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, ON, from August 18 to 20.

So far, organizers have unveiled a list of scheduled performers that includes Weezer, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, the Strumbellas, Basia Bulat, Choir! Choir! Choir!, De La Soul, Dwayne Gretzky, Magic!, Tom Chaplin and Wintersleep.

Additional family-friendly performances from Fred Penner, Paw Patrol and Splash'N Boots will also take place.

Furthermore, the foodie crowd can look forward to appearances from personalities like Chuck Hughes, Rob Gentile, Derek Dammann, Danny Smiles, Vikram Vij, Victor Barry, Michael Hunter and Matthew Demille.

More guests are expected to be announced in the months to come, but if you're already sold on checking it out, tickets for the festival are available as of today (March 1). Teens can get weekend camping passes for $85, while adults will have to cough up $155 for a weekend pass. Children under 12 will be admitted for free.
