The Toronto Reference Library Now Carries Vinyl Records

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jun 16, 2017

Somehow the Toronto Reference Library is quickly becoming the city's hottest music hangout. The building was featured in the pilot episode of nirvanna the band the show, then later as the setting for the Weeknd's sexed up "Secrets" video. Undeniably the coolest spot in town, the library now carries vinyl records.

The Toronto Public Library recently took to Reddit (yes, this hip-ass library is also apparently quite internet savvy) to discuss their recent acquisition of some vinyl records. They posted the above photo, along with a truly impressive collection of releases they've stocked.

You can read the full list below. It includes everything from the Beatles and Bob Dylan to Kaytranada and Fucked Up.

The library's vinyl collection can be accessed on the fifth floor of the Toronto Reference Library at 789 Yonge Street. Who knows what hip item the library will acquire next. We're hoping for fidget spinners.
