The Sheepdogs Announce New Album 'Outta Sight'

They've also shared new single "So Far Gone" in addition to a new video for "Find the Truth"

The Sheepdogs have announced a new album, Outta Sight, out June 3 via Warner Music.

Speaking about Outta Sight in a press release, singer Ewan Currie said:

It's a weird world. Everybody stuck in place, overthinking absolutely everything. We wanted to avoid all that — just get in the room, plug in your guitar and go. So that's what we did. Themes like optimism in the face of adversity, standing tall and staying strong, knowing that better times are around the corner kept coming through when making the record and it felt really damned good to play.

In anticipation of the new release, they have unveiled new song "So Far Gone," along with an official video for previously released single, "Find the Truth."

The smoky, smouldering and blues-inflected "So Far Gone" features laidback, J.J. Cale-esque guitar work over a calm, measured drum machine, while "Find the Truth" has all the ingredients of a classic Sheepdogs single: an upbeat take on the harmonized guitars of the Allman Brothers, carefree vocals and an unpretentious sense of fun throughout.

These songs and more will get their stage debut when the band head out on their massive North American tour in the fall.
