The Rolling Stones are still, well, rolling after 60 years, and fans of the rock vets thankfully won't have to wait that long for an album of new material, said to be arriving next year.

Respective reports from American Songwriter and English tabloid The Sun point to a new album arriving in summer 2023 from surviving Stones Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood.

Not only would the new disc mark the band's first of original work since 2005's A Bigger Bang, but it would stand as their first without longtime drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away last August at age 80.

Both reports point to the Stones recording with drummer Steve Jordan and bass player Darryl Jones, the latter of whom has been playing and recording with the band since 1994.

The reports also point to a tour including US, South American and European dates being announced behind the effort — and who knows, maybe they won't skip Canada this time.

Earlier this year, frontman Jagger contracted COVID while the band were on tour in Europe, though the illness didn't keep him down for long.

The Rolling Stones last released covers set Blue & Lonesome in 2016.
