After an almost decade-long break from recording original material, 23-member choral rock band the Polyphonic Spree have announced the release of their new album Salvage Enterprise, arriving this November 17.

Frontman Tim DeLaughter describes the Polyphonic Spree's eighth studio album and follow-up to 2014's Psychophonic as a "rising-from-the-ashes record." It's led by the release of the single "Galloping Seas (Section 44)."

"Across all of the music I've done, lyrically there's a sense of desperation and a moment of convincing myself I'm going to make it through…" said DeLaughter in a press release.

"On this one, I struggled with the amount of vulnerability I was experiencing and was willing to share both musically and lyrically, but ultimately decided to let it play out," DeLaughter added.

Alongside the release of their nine-track album, the band will also be making a brief, six-stop tour across Texas. No Canadian dates have been announced thus far.
