The Pack A.D. are gearing up to release their optimistically titled latest LP Positive Thinking later this summer, and they've brightened up this Monday morning by sharing a new track from the upcoming album.
"Fair Enough" finds the two-piece seeking the comfort in escapism, conveying that feeling through emotionally expressive vocals, grunge-y riffs and an ever-steady backbeat. Tension builds throughout the quieter, more introspective verses, before finding release in carefully positioned bursts of explosive energy.
According to a press release, the song is about "the bubbles of illusion we inevitably draw around ourselves as a barrier against reality." Detach yourself from reality for the next four minutes and get lost in "Fair Enough" below.
Positive Thinking arrives on August 12 through Cadence Music.
Tour dates:
06/13 Chicago, IL - Empty Bottle
06/14 St. Paul, MN - Turf Club
06/16 Saskatoon, SK - Bud's On Broadway
06/17 Red Deer, AB - Bo's Bar
06/18 Edmonton, AB - Brixx
06/21 Spokane, WA - The Bartlett
