Following a long line of teaser tracks, the New Pornographers have fully unloaded their new Whiteout Conditions album. That's right, the record is now up to stream in full.
Down below, you can fully dig into the group's first album since 2014's Brill Bruisers. Of course, it includes previously shared tracks like "High Ticket Attractions," "This Is the World of Theatre" and its title track "Whiteout Conditions."
"At the beginning of this record, there was some thinking that we wanted it to be like a Krautrock Fifth Dimension," the band's Carl Newman previously said in a statement. "Of course, our mutated idea of what Krautrock is probably doesn't sound like Krautrock at all. But we were thinking: Let's try and rock in a different way."
You can hear how that all pans out for yourself below.
Whiteout Conditions arrives on Friday (April 7) via Dine Alone in Canada, and the band's own Collected Works Records/Concord in the rest of the world.
