Jimmy and Ben, together again

BY Josiah HughesPublished Dec 4, 2018

Indie forefathers Death Cab for Cutie refuse to stop releasing records, but Ben Gibbard's other band seems to have the opposite problem. Despite reuniting in 2012, the Postal Service have yet to follow up their classic album Give Up. Fortunately, we get to hear Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello together again via a new Death Cab remix.

Utilizing Death Cab's Thank You for Today song "Summer Years," Jimmy has built something that will certainly scratch the dance-pop itch for sad Postal Service fans.

Listen to the "Summer Years" remix below, and pretend it's a new Postal Service song in the process.
