A little over four years removed from his Caregiver LP, the Mole (a.k.a. Colin De La Plante) has announced the arrival of a follow-up effort.
Titled De La Planet, the Berlin-based, Canada-bred producer's latest will arrive on October 6 through his own Maybe Tomorrow Records. The 12-track album is said to find De La Plante tapping his enormous reservoir of vinyl and sampling the odd film" to complement his "jaw-dropping arsenal of synthesizers," as Resident Advisor notes.
De La Plante has shared first single "Going With the Hat Man," which you can hear in the player below. He's also announced tour dates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Detroit and Brooklyn.
