With the Magnetic Fields' massive 50 Song Memoir coming up next month, Stephin Merritt is giving us another glimpse of the sprawling album. Specifically, he's shared the video for the collection's "'81 How to Play the Synthesizer."
As you'd guess from that title, the track is very much a synth-fuelled journey. It's video is also very zeroed in on the titular instrument, with the clip from John Erickson, Alex Basco Koch & José Zayas featuring a ton of synthesizers, as well as their very detailed manuals.
