We all know that life imitates art, but it doesn't always happen in the most positive ways. Take, for example, the story of actor R. Marcos Taylor, who took on the role of Suge Knight in Straight Outta Compton. The performer is now taking a page from Knight's own life, having been arrested for assault.

According to TMZ, Taylor has been charged with multiple counts of assault after punching two people.

It all went down on August 9, when sources say Taylor assaulted the manager of Carrabba's Italian Grill in Green Brook, NJ. The actor reportedly punched the manager in the face several times after an argument escalated.

Apparently several employees dragged Marcos out of the restaurant where a brawl ensued. The actor then allegedly punched a woman in the side of the head.

He was charged with four counts of assault, one count of criminal mischief and one count of disorderly conduct.

When reached for comment, Marcos told TMZ that he was jumped in the parking lot, though he wouldn't elaborate. His attorney said he never punched or kicked anyone, but threw one of the restaurant's employees in self-defence.
