The Guy from the "Dreams" Meme Has Tested Positive for COVID-19

Nathan Apodaca has been keeping busy — maybe too busy — making appearances ever since his "Dreams" TikTok meme exploded earlier this year, and now it seems the viral sensation has sadly caught coronavirus somewhere along the road.

According to TMZ, the internet personality may have contracted the bug while flying out to Los Angeles on his non-stop appearance circuit that began when he started gaining TikTok fame at the end of summer. That trek has now, understandably, ended a matter of days ago.

Nathan and his wife Estela reportedly tested positive for the virus yesterday (December 14), after experiencing common symptoms of COVID-19 including coughing, fever, headaches and congestion. As a result, Apodaca has been forced to cancel his upcoming appearances, as well as the family's Christmas plans.

If the skater has somehow managed to elude you this year, Apodaca cruised into viral fame back in September for an extremely chill meme that saw him sipping cranberry juice and skateboarding while listening to Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams." His online popularity skyrocketed in the fall, and he's since been dapped by both Mick Fleetwood and Ocean Spray.

Here's hoping the meme maker makes a speedy recovery. Return his good vibes by revisiting his Fleetwood Mac-soundtracked commute below.
