West Coast vets the Grapes of Wrath returned with their first new album in over 20 years with High Road back in 2013, and now four years on from that, they've unveiled a previously unreleased version of "The Weight."
The recording comes from a session with CBC's Brave New Waves program back on May 25, 1988. The band eventually ran through songs off their yet-to-be-released at the time Treehouse album, but kicked things off with a cover of "The Weight."

The full session recording of the Brave New Waves performance is finally getting commercially released for the first time next month. It's set to arrive on May 5 via Artoffact Records.
