After sharing single "Panic Attack" last month, the Glorious Sons have revealed the song to be part of a new full-length album arriving later this year.
Titled A War on Everything, the band's latest arrives September 13 through Black Box Music. Fourteen tracks in length, the album was produced by Frederik Thaae (Kate Nash, Atlas Genius) and was recorded in Kingston, ON, at North of Princess studios.
Following album opener "Panic Attack," the band have now shared album closer "Pink Motel" for a second look at the effort.
As frontman Brett Emmons explained in a statement, "I wrote this song in response to my ex claiming 'we don't have anything' as she looked around my shitty apartment. 'Pink Motel' was my last effort to remind her of how meaningless everything was if we couldn't get back to just her and I."
As previously reported, the Glorious Sons are currently on tour through the United States with the Struts. Following an August appearance at Montreal's Osheaga festival, they'll make stops in Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Alberta and Newfoundland. Find their itinerary below.
