The Flaming Lips Treat 'The Soft Bulletin' to New Live Album

The band's first-ever live release arrives in November

Continuing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their landmark 1999 album The Soft Bulletin, the Flaming Lips have now announced that effort will also be recognized with the release of their first-ever live album.

The band will release The Soft Bulletin: Live at Red Rocks on November 29 through Warner Records. The effort captures a 2016 performance of the album in its entirety at the iconic amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, where they were joined by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.

Produced by the band, Scott Booker and Dave Fridmann, Live at Red Rocks finds the Flaming Lips performing alongside a a 68-piece orchestra and a 57-person choir conducted by Andre De Ridder. You can hear the ensemble's version of opener "Race for the Prize" in the player below.
