Devotees of Stockholm minimalist the Field (a.k.a. Axel Willner) are getting another preview of his upcoming The Follower LP. Following a few other live samples, he's now let loose a concert version of the record's "Soft Streams."
While the cut is initially covered in a cloud of ethereal electronics, the Field quickly marches the song forward with a digital 3/4 drum rhythm. The nearly 11-minute piece, recorded during a concert in Berlin, eventually adds a few fun and squelchy synth bass melodies to the mix.
