The Fall of Troy Release 'OK' for Free, Plot World Tour

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Apr 20, 2016

After sharing singles "401k" and "Inside Out," mathcore crew the Fall of Troy have finally lifted the curtain on their first new album in seven years, OK.

Released through their own website today (April 20), the band included a message for listeners explaining why they're giving their latest effort away free of charge.

"Rather than try to squeeze every penny from people who have given us opportunities beyond our wildest dreams, we wanted to give you a gift, for all the gifts you've given us over the years," the band wrote. "If you would like to support us further, you can do so through donating what you see fit, or by purchasing a vinyl or merch bundle."

Digital copies of OK are available for free here, while a limited coloured vinyl edition of 1,000 is also available. Two merch bundles including a pack of pins and stickers are also available.

Along with the record, the band have mapped out a world tour that will take them around the globe through July, August and September. As far as Canadian dates go, the crew will play shows in Montreal on August 7 at Les Katacombes and Toronto on August 8 at Lee's Palace.

Support on the various legs of their sizable trek will come from Closure in Moscow, Meniscus, Osaka Punch, '68, Illustrations and Tiny Moving Parts. Ticket pre-sales for all dates will go live on April 22.
