If you've been trying to find a Christmas gift for the Beatles fan in your life, consider yourself sorted. Today (October 12), a new fan-designed Lego Ideas set was revealed, and it features none other than the Fab Four and their famed Yellow Submarine.
The set is due out November 1 and retails for $60 USD. It contains 550 pieces and was designed by Lego Ideas contributor Kevin Szeto, who secured the 10,000 fan votes needed for Lego to greenlight the project.
As you can see, the set features a pretty spot-on replica of the Yellow Submarine. And better yet, it does open up where you can place Lego versions of John, Paul, George and Ringo. There's even a Blue Meanie included.
The official description has this to say: "Take a surreal trip under the seas in the LEGO® version of the Yellow Submarine from the iconic 1968 animated musical fantasy film inspired by the Beatles. Ideal for display or role-play fun, the Yellow Submarine features loads of cool, authentic details including a cockpit for the included minifigures of John, Paul, George and Ringo."
