The Beatles' classic 1968 White Album is commemorating its 50th anniversary with a reissue. It's due out on November 9 via Universal.
The album has been remixed by "fifth Beatle" George Martin's son, Giles Martin, and repackaged with additional demos and session recordings. It will be available as a 7-disc deluxe set, as well as 3-CD and 4-LP versions and standard 2-LP edition.
Included in all versions (except the 2-LP edition) is the 27-song Esher Demos — a fabled set of acoustic demos recorded by the Beatles at George Martin's house in Esher, Surrey in May of 1968. In addition to the 2-disc 2018 remaster of the White Album and the Esher Demos, the deluxe package also features three additional discs of sessions and a hi-res audio Blu-ray disc.
