No stranger to these types of cancellations, Winehouse has been caught by tabloids recently getting blitzed out of her skull with husband Blake Fielder-Civil while she was slated to perform gigs. I guess that can be exhausting, if you drink enough.
UK gossip rag The Sun, however, is graphically reporting that Winehouse was rushed to London's University College Hospital after an apparent overdose, where she had her stomach pumped. The article also states the Winehouse has admitted using marijuana and cocaine, and goes on to talk about her struggles with both bulimia and anorexia.
No word has been given yet if Winehouse will pull out of her duties at Virgin Festival in Toronto and Osheaga in Montreal the weekend of September 8 and 9.
