A Textbook Tragedy Canadian Music Week Toronto ON, March 5 to 8

Van-City’s ATT are coming right off their first album on their first label and were looking to impress the nearly packed Reverb with aggressive music chalked full of hardcore and spastic bouts of technical ferocity. They did manage to play a good set with only a few missteps. Their live performance still needs to match up to their recorded work or playing live could become a real tragedy. Newly acquired front-man Chris Bahris vocals were spot on but his Ricky Martin-esque moves were bizarre and his Growing Up Gotti facade was daft. That said, he later gained respect for stopping in the middle of a song to help out a busted up thrash kid.
