Tennyson King made his full-length debut with Good Company last month, and the Hong Kong-born, Canada-based singer-songwriter will surely find just that when he takes the set of songs on a Canadian tour.
Following a pair of performances in Alberta this Friday and Saturday (February 25 and 26), King will spend the majority of March touring the Western provinces and Ontario, playing intimate venues, breweries, bars and cafes.
Highlights include his album release concert on March 10 at Toronto's Drake Underground, a Thunder Bay performance with Danielle Pollari and the Honest Heart Collective's Ryan MacDonald on March 5, and the tour's finale which finds King playing Toronto's El Mocambo with Terra Lightfoot and the Red Hill Valleys.
Alongside the tour news, King has shared a live acoustic version of Good Company track "Fall" with Toronto singer-songwriter Julie Neff, shot at Vancouver's Spanish Banks Beach by Chris Noble.
"I was in Vancouver shooting my music video for 'Slow Down' and found out that Julie was in town as well shooting a music video of her own," King recalls in a statement. "We wanted to capture a memory together since we have rarely been in the same country or city in the past few years so we decided to head down to Spanish Banks Beach in Vancouver to sing some songs together. It was a beautiful sunset afternoon on the beach, reconnecting, sharing songs, and stories. The sort of thing that makes life beautiful."
