Published Nov 03, 2010Sunny pop outfit Tennis are already one of indiedom's hottest up-and-coming bands, as their early singles have garnered a steady blog following. Now, the Denver, CO-based husband and wife duo are looking to make their buzz band status official, announcing they will be releasing their debut album, Cape Dory, on January 18 via Fat Possum.
You can see the album cover above and the tracklist below. If you've been following Tennis's career up to this point, you will notice that the band's signature tune, "Marathon," made the cut. Head to MySpace and you can also hear album tracks "South Carolina" and "Baltimore."
Tennis will be building the hype by hitting the road in North America this month, playing some dates with Japandroids and the Walkmen. There are two Canadian shows currently booked, in Montreal and Toronto. Scroll past the tracklist for the schedule.
