We're less than a month away from the release of Cape Dory, the debut album from buzz-worthy indie pop duo Tennis. We already heard first single "Take Me Somewhere," and now we have a video for "Pigeon."
The clip displays a darker side of Tennis than we're used to seeing from the sweet, summery twosome. It shows a magician performing in a dimly lit room, juggling and doing card tricks. Nothing much happens, but the lingering close-ups and sleepy slow motion are a fitting accompaniment, which is a mellow, romantic waltz. As the track reaches a slow-burning, arpeggiated crescendo, frontman Alaina Moore sings, "I will be there/I promise to take care of you."
