Alongside the release of her autobiographical new single "Thing That Brought Me Here (Truck Song)," Grande Prairie, AB-hailing country star Tenille Townes has announced that she'll be embarking on a nationwide tour this fall. The stint on the road will bring her to cities in nine provinces.
Kicking off on October 9 in Moncton, the singer-songwriter has two more shows in the province — Saint John (October 10) and Fredericton (October 12) — as well as one in Halifax (October 11) before she heads to the more central part of the country. There, she has Ontario concerts in Belleville (October 24), Guelph (October 25), Toronto (October 26), London (October 30) and Ottawa (October 31) before starting the month of November with a lone Quebec performance in Montreal (November 1).
Townes will complete the latter half of the tour out west, making single-province stops in Winnipeg (November 13) and Saskatoon (November 14) ahead of making the rounds in Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Grande Prairie) and capping things off in BC, playing Vancouver (November 22) and closing the run with back-to-back nights in Kelowna on November 23 and 24.
