Tegan and Sara Leak Plans for New DVD and Upcoming Hiatus
Tegan and Sara fans, it's time to break out the credit cards once again. Hot on the heels of their massive vinyl box set, Canada's favourite indie rock twins are getting set to release a live DVD.

In a recent interview, Tegan Quin told Spinner, "We're putting together this gigantic DVD right now. We're working on it quite hard right now because our plan is to put it out before spring"

In addition to including live music footage, the concert film will reportedly contain clips from audience Q&A sessions held during shows this summer. The DVD will feature footage shot in North America, Australia, New Zealand and India, and will range from stripped-down acoustic performances to full-blown concerts.

The duo's previous DVD, It's Not Fun. Don't Do It!, came out in 2006.

It's not all good news for Tegan and Sara fans, however. The reason the Quin sisters are rushing to ensure the DVD is completed by the spring is because that's when they plan to take a hiatus following a year-and-a-half of promotion behind latest LP Sainthood.

"We're going to go on a little bit of a break and not be touring," Tegan said. "Basically, [the DVD is] something to keep people entertained while we're away."
