We're beginning to notice a trend. Tegan and Sara recently released their cover of the Rolling Stones' "Fool to Cry," and now the Canadian indie rock twins have shared a similarly titled track of their own called "I Was a Fool."
This glossy pop cut appears on the group's upcoming album, Heartthrob, due out January 29 through Warner. It's a dramatic, mid-tempo piano ballad that's bolstered by radio-friendly rhythms and slick production, meaning that it will sound right at home alongside the synth-heavy cuts we've previously heard from Heartthrob.
