Raleigh, NC's Teens in Trouble (a.k.a. Lizzie Killian) has teamed up with PUP's Stefan Babcock for a taste of her upcoming album. "You Don't Want to Mess with Me" arrives today via Asian Man Records.

The track is an alt-rock love song that dwells on the walls people put up when they hit it off with someone new. Babcock lends backing vocals and guitars, adding a pop-punk inflection while juxtaposing Killian's saccharine vocals.

On working with Babcock, Killian said, "I was listening to a lot of PUP and I thought that this could be the perfect song for Stefan, and it was! His guitar and vocals injected a brand new energy into the song that makes me excited when I hear it. It's an honour to have him be a part of this song."

"You Don't Want to Mess with Me" is the first track off of Teens in Trouble's debut record, What's Mine, set to arrive this spring. Watch its music video below.
