Ted Leo "Since U Been Gone”

The song that made American Idol a credible A&R firm may have found Kelly Clarkson some fans in unlikely places, like in indie/mod rocker Ted Leo’s bedroom. Minus the Pharmacists, this lo-fi rendition of Clarkson’s rock hit sounds like it was written especially for the New Jersey native’s high register. The fact that he throws in a little snippet of Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ harmonising "Maps” for equal measure makes both the guy and the song that much more loveable.
