Los Angeles rapper and TDE team member Jay Rock was involved in a serious motorcycle accident tonight (February 15), his label reports. While the details are still coming in, he has apparently suffered multiple broken bones.
Word of the accident arrived through TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith's Twitter account, where it was revealed that Jay Rock had been involved in a "bad accident on his motorcycle." He added that while the rapper is neither in a coma nor "near death," the severity of the accident still left him with broken bones. It's as yet unclear where the accident took place.
Jay Rock is a member of Black Hippy, alongside Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. Jay Rock last issued the solo LP 90059 in 2015 but is also known for appearing on Lamar's "Money Trees" single from 2012.
