Mueller is now employed by 92.7 KIX, where he goes by the pseudonym Stonewall Jackson (a nod to the Confederate general), and co-hosts a morning show called Jackson & Jonbob.
Mueller's new boss Larry Fuss of Delta Radio has said that he believes Mueller is innocent, telling the New York Daily News, "He's either the world's best liar, or he's telling the truth."
A number of Swift's fans have leapt to her defence, publicly shaming Delta Radio on social media for hiring the assaulter and denying Swift's court-proven claims.
See some of the passionate responses below.
the man who was found guilty six months ago of sexually assaulting taylor swift has a brand new job and is using the name of a confederate general as his pseudonym. i'm so fucking tired.

If people won't believe Taylor Swift after a man was PROVEN guilty of sexual assault, what hope do i have? What hope does the girl next to me have, my children, their friends, my grandchildren?

People had the choice to move forward with history and instead they did the opposite.
imagine giving a job to the man who groped taylor swift because you "believe his side" and then he takes on a confederate general's name as his DJ moniker https://t.co/SVPuq2sFLi pic.twitter.com/UWjdsRHiSm

Beyond rancid: the US radio station president who hired the man found to have groped Taylor Swift partially did so for publicity https://t.co/B6Zu3dY8Gc pic.twitter.com/rhI95bCN4Y

Larry, the head of Delta Radio just told me that the station is giving David Mueller the "opportunity to work" & that he deserves a second chance. He also said that Mueller was "NEVER FOUND GUILTY of anything criminal" & that he denies assaulting Taylor Swift.

You might want to look into the hashtag. Because I can tell you right now, the backlash you are receiving right now for your hiring decisions goes way beyond just Taylor Swift fans. This is about women, respect for women, and we will no longer be silent.
Absolutely livid and disgusted that this coward gets to hide behind an alias and continue his career after what he did. Taylor did not go through her trial and emotional pain for this bullshit. https://t.co/RD9DJXlMN4

And yet another example of a man in power, a radio executive, who chooses to believe a man over a woman even after a jury of his peers found him guilty of sexual assault. Do not accept this offensive behavior, America. #timesup on sweeping sexual assault under the rug. https://t.co/fFWJ3nTepQ

So, David Mueller (THE David Mueller who grabbed @taylorswift13's bottom & then sent her a Sacagawea coin) is working in radio again, under the name Stonewall Jaxson. No, I'm serious. You know how many women are BLACKLISTED after coming forward about abuse/harrasment? All of them pic.twitter.com/OvgGrpBXuw

As previously reported, Mueller's legal battle with Swift began after she claimed that he groped her during a 2013 meet-and-greet in Denver. After an internal KYGO investigation, he was fired.
Mueller initiated the court battle, suing Swift for $3 million USD in damages and blaming her for losing his job. She successfully countersued with allegations of sexual assault, winning a symbolic $1 settlement.
