Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' Sold 1.22 Million Copies in Its First Week
It was one of the most anticipated pop records of the year, and Taylor Swift's Reputation has proved another commercial juggernaut for the singer. Nielsen Music and Billboard report that the album sold more than 1.22 million units in its first week.

It's an impressive feat made more remarkable when you take in to account that those numbers are purely based on the units shifted before Reputation even arrived on streaming services.

It also adds some heft to Swift's title as the first artist in history to have three albums sell more than a million copies in their first week — a record she earned upon the release of 2014's 1989 (following 2012's Red and 2010's Speak Now). Reputation now stands as her fourth album to sell more than a million in its first week.

It's still unclear when Reputation will finally arrive in its entirety on Spotify and Apple Music, though it's available now on CD and double picture disc vinyl via Umusic.
