Confirmed: Taylor Swift Indeed Co-Wrote Calvin Harris and Rihanna's "This Is What You Came For"

Following recent murmurings surrounding the authorship of Calvin Harris and Rihanna's "This Is What You Came For," it's been confirmed that Taylor Swift co-wrote the song using a pseudonym.

The credits for the song list a heretofore unknown named "Nils Sojberg," but online chatter since the song's release had suggested that it was actually Swift who had helped ex-boyfriend Harris write the summer banger. A representative for Swift has now publicly confirmed the pop star's part in the track, with it being added that the pair had written the song before breaking up earlier in the year.

Harris also confirmed the team-up through his Twitter account, explaining that he had written and produced the tune while T-Swift wrote lyrics and recorded vocals. Harris added that the singer "smashed it as usual," though she initially wanted to keep her role in the track kept a secret.

While it started off friendly, a series of follow-up tweets then have the producer claiming he's hurt that Swift and her team "would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage." He also noted that he refused to be buried in the same way that pop singer Katy Perry had been vis-a-vis Swift's "Bad Blood" single.

You'll find the quick shifting narrative of tweets from Harris down below.

While who's to say for sure, "This Is What You Came For" may well be the last collaboration between Swift and Harris. Earlier this year, in an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Harris had been asked if he'd ever work with his ex-girlfriend again. He responded: "You know we haven't even spoken about it. I can't see it happening though."
