Published Aug 27, 2015Taylor Swift's 1989 tour has come with frequent reports of high-profile guests. Last night (August 26), her Los Angeles gig at the Staples Centre featured perhaps the most surprising guest yet: actress Lisa Kudrow, who appeared in character as Phoebe Buffay from Friends.
In Friends, Buffay is an amateur-level coffee shop singer, and she and Tay-Tay duetted on the character's best-known song: "Smelly Cat." They turned it into a comical skit, with Kudrow stopping Swift mid-line to instruct her on how to "really feel the lyrics," before leading the crowd in a big singalong of the chorus.
Below, watch fan-shot footage of "Smelly Cat." At different points, the gig also featured Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez.
