Taylor Knox

"Fire" (live video)

As previously reported, Taylor Knox is about to light things up with his forthcoming Lines EP. Now, ahead of the March 31 release date through MapleMusic, he's cooked up a live performance video of the record's "Fire."

The clip is pretty straightforward, and finds Knox and the rest of his backup band crunching through their power pop number for a group of friends. As an added bonus, you get a pretty corny joke to add to your arsenal, courtesy of one of the video's crew members.

"My friend's restaurant burned down in a fire that started in the house next door," Knox said in a statement of the song's origins. "One day everything was normal and the next day the restaurant was gone. It got me thinking about how things can change so quickly and you have to make the most of what you've got right now."

You'll find the live-off-the-floor performance down below, as well as a list of Knox's upcoming tour dates.
