Talulah Gosh to Release First Demo for Record Store Day

Talulah Gosh to Release First Demo for Record Store Day
Record Store Day is right around the corner, and we've already learned about a slew of exclusive releases that will be coming your way next month. Here's another reason to hit up your local record store on April 16: English twee pioneers Talulah Gosh will be releasing their first-ever demo as a seven-inch record.

Only ten copies of the cassette demo were reportedly ever made. While most of them were given away at the time, singer/guitarist Amelia Fletcher hung on to one copy herself. The songs have now been remastered and will be released by Damaged Goods Records.

According to the label [via Crawdaddy], "This is the original demo the band did in early 1986 with Razorcut Gregory Webster at the controls."

All four tracks fit onto a seven-inch single. There will only be 500 copies pressed. You can see the tracklist below.

This is only the beginning of the retrospective material that Talulah Gosh will be releasing this year. Damaged Goods is currently prepping a new compilation called Grrrr that will "be out in the summer and have everything that appeared on the 1993 comp Backwash plus lots more."

Demos EP:

1. "Steaming Train"

2. "I Told You So"

3. "Mmm Mmm He's So Dreamy"

4. "Sunny Inside"
