System of a Down

With the breakout success of their amazing Toxicity disc it seemed inevitable that demand for new music might not be far behind. And while this 16-track collection is not strictly speaking a "new" release, it does deliver 16 tracks previously unheard on record with history ranging back to 1995, before the release of their self-titled debut. Musically it is exactly the kind of neck-snapping twisted metal mayhem that the American-Armenian quartet is renowned and respected for. They are by no means b-sides or outtakes, they are fully realised and brilliantly executed songs and performances worthy of acknowledgement as more than a "compilation" or something for completists only.
