Until recently, Swervedriver hadn't released an album since the '90s, but the sorely missed UK shoegazers returned this month with I Wasn't Born to Lose You. This spring, they will be making their comeback in Canada by releasing the album in our country and playing a few live dates.
The band are currently on tour in the U.S., and they had previously announced a Canadian Music Week appearance in Toronto for May 6. This is part of a five-date leg of Canuck touring, as the band will also be playing in Montreal, Ottawa, London and Hamilton. This will be followed by a UK tour; see the schedule below.
Although While I Wasn't Born to Lose You is already out internationally, Swervedriver have now inked a deal with Dine Alone Records for the album's Canadian release, which will be on April 7.
