Sweet Valley Team with MNDR for 'Dance 4 a Dollar' EP

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Feb 2, 2015

Wavves frontman Nathan Williams has been making beats with his brother Kynan under their Sweet Valley moniker for a while now, most recently dropping their Ghetto Cuisine mixtape with DaVinci.

Well, now the "bongwater-soaked beat geniuses" are back with another collaborative effort. Dance 4 a Dollar is a new EP that sees Sweet Valley pair up with L.A. synth popster MNDR.

A press release for the new project explains: "SV chop up strip club 808s and woozy synths like they're reclaiming trip hop for the DJ Mustard era, while MNDR explores the underbelly of radio songcraft, finding the creepiness inside champagne anthems and coating tales of teenage nihilists with Rihanna-worthy ear candy."

The five-song EP was produced by Peter Wade and will arrive on February 24 via Fool's Gold. You can check out the full tracklisting below, and scroll past it to give the title track a spin.
