Montreal's Suuns recently treated fans to a new way to experience their experimental sound by introducing a virtual reality app for their new video. The latest episode of Exclaim! TV holds back on the twisted, old school CGI graphics, but delivers Suuns performing a few cuts from their long-awaited third studio album, Hold/Still.
In the first clip, Suuns offer up "Translate," a track that's been in the works for years, combining drums and bleak synths that lead into the unnerving, spiralling guitar. Suuns bring that same slick, entrancing vibe again with "Paralyzer," delivering another meticulously crafted track, before ending with "Resistance," which inches towards the build-up before leaving you yearning for more.
