Published Jun 06, 2013Summer festival season is just around the corner, and Surrey, BC, has weighed in on the outdoor concert market by detailing their sixth annual Surrey Fusion Festival, which will be headlined by Canadian rap vet K-os.
The free two-day event runs July 20 and 21 at the city's Holland Park and will showcase more than 70 acts performing on four stages. The first day of the event will have K-os closing out the night, while other artists set to appear include Kyprios, pop-rockers the Zolas, Los Furios, North Shore Celtic Ensemble, Bella Monde and Jerrica Santos.
The Sunday show, meanwhile, hosts, Shweta Subram, Jim Byrnes & Steve Dawson, Stephen Fearing, Tonye Aganabe, Zerbin, Sidney York, Watasun, Jordan Klassen and more. The event will be capped with a choreographed performance from Shiamak Davar's TOIFA Bollywood Remix, which celebrates 100 years of Bollywood cinema and brings together singers, dancers, pianists and drummers.
