Superhalo

Make Yourself Heard

BY Roman SokalPublished May 1, 2001

Superhalo is, unfortunately, making themselves heard by trying far too hard to please the record companies and the masses and not themselves. Using undisciplined interventionist electro-rock as their driving force, they come on a little too strong and forceful to make a good impression. There is either too much or too little contempt to be found within the album's spirit, and the lack of distinct melody, which creates an inability to grasp what is going on. Remember, gentlemen, keep it simple and the kids will feel it, well, hopefully, that is.
