Superdrag are inactive once again, but SideOneDummy is continuing to reissue the '90s alt-rock band's back catalogue on vinyl. Next up is a pressing of Head Trip in Every Key, plus the newly compiled rarities collection Jokers w/ Tracers, both of which will arrive on August 12.
Head Trip in Every Key originally came out in 1998, but it was never available on vinyl. Although the album under-performed commercially and resulted in the band leaving Elektra Records, SideOneDummy notes that it has since become an "overwhelming fan favourite."
The 13 tracks are split across two clear vinyl LPs in an edition of 1,500. See the tracklist below.
As for Jokers w/ Tracers, it's a compilation of demos and rarities made in the lead-up to Head Trip in Every Key. The band penned the material in Bearsville, NY, and while some of the songs made it onto the subsequent LP, others were never properly released. These tunes were recorded and mixed by Nick Raskulinecz.
There are 23 songs across the two black LPs. The bulk of the songs from Head Trip in Every Key appear here, along with a heap of other tracks. It's available in a run of 500.
