Supercrush "I Don't Want to Be Sad Anymore" (video)
As we learned a while back, the A-side of Supercrush's recent 7-inch release is called "I Don't Want to Be Sad Anymore." We're thinking the West Coast jangle-pop trio have done a good job of upping their serotonin levels, as the new video for the single has them smiling in the sun and covered in spherical soap suds.

Early on, we see an in-action recreation of the bubble-blowing 7-inch artwork, but for the most part we're treated to the sight of the band either playing the Teenage Fanbclub-leaning track in a soundstage, or cycling together on side streets.

Elsewhere, drummer Aaron O'Neil proves to be a proficient, in-car air-drummer, while vocalist Mark Palm also manages to sneak off from the band to enjoy some solo time by the water. Keep in mind, all of these scenes have the band slathered in a steady stream of bubbles. Palm explained to Exclaim! that the band and director Ian Shelton acquired three toy bubble makers and six litres of bubble juice for the shoot.
